Following a year of growth that saw major sports partnerships and new store openings across the country, Australia’s largest Sushi franchise, Sushi Sushi, has announced its arrival in South Australia.
With a soft opening in late June 2017, the first Sushi Sushi store is located in the New Royal Adelaide Hospital and according to Gavan Meadows, General Manager of Franchise Sales and Marketing, delivers on a strategic proposition for the organisation.
“The alignment with a prominent healthcare facility helps to reinforce our position as a high quality, healthy and fresh convenience food,” he says.
“Unfortunately, there are many on-the-go foods – including other sushi providers – that are far from healthy and fall short on freshness and quality, and we are committed to filling that gap.
“We also wanted our first Adelaide store to have true meaning and a real sense of community, so the partnership with New Royal Adelaide Hospital was a natural fit.
The second Adelaide store will open in the City Cross Arcade in the CBD in late July, 2017.
The launch forms part of a broader plan to open up to 12 Sushi Sushi’s throughout South Australia over the next two to three years, bringing both franchise and employment opportunities to the greater Adelaide market.
Gavan Meadows adds: Our South Australian focus is simply a response to consumer demand as we know local residents have developed an increasing appetite for high quality, yet convenient Japanese cuisine.
“We’re also thrilled to create exciting opportunities for new franchise partners to join our growing network in Adelaide, and up to 150 new jobs for the local market over the next three years,” he adds.
