After a year of lockdowns, remote working and social distancing, awareness for mental health and personal well-being has never been so crucial. To tackle this, Thrive HR Exchange has partnered with the global business community, Forming Impact, to launch Wellness Wednesdays, an ongoing series of free virtual wellness programmes to engage professionals around the world.
Wellness Wednesdays were first launched in October 2020 and offer access to worldwide experts leading a range of virtual activities and classes. Experiences include yoga from the Necker Islands’ private paradise or breathing exercises from a rural farm in New Zealand. Participants have explored how to improve their immunity and discussed topics such as the COVID-19 vaccination roll out with world-renowned doctors. Whether it is a meditation or nutrition class, each session takes just 30 minutes of the day and is designed to bring relaxation, amplify productivity and enhance leadership and empowerment abilities.
Founded by Matt Chapman of ChapmanCG, a global premier HR Executive Search firm, and Stephanie Nash, a Global HR Leader with more than 25 years’ experience, Thrive HR Exchange is a global community platform for HR professionals and people leaders to co-create the future of work. A dynamic, positive force for progress in the industry, Thrive HR Exchange offers compassionate support, meaningful collaboration, dedicated mentorship and best practice sharing to make the HR leaders of today – and tomorrow – become agents of change within their industries.
“A silver lining to this pandemic has been that it has forced many organisations and leaders to take notice of employee well-being from a holistic perspective. As businesses rise to meet new demands in today’s world, the link between corporate performance and employee well-being has never been more critical,” said Stephanie Nash of Thrive HR Exchange.
Thrive HR Exchange also recently announced a partnership with Thrive Global Asia Pacific to address wellness in workplaces throughout Southeast Asia. Thrive Global is a strategic alliance between Thrive Global and Monash University in ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand. Thrive Global, a leading corporate behaviour change tech company, was founded by the Huffington Post’s Arianna Huffington in 2016 after she faced her own personal struggles with burnout at work. To date, the organisation has helped over 100 businesses globally to drive wellness and productivity in their workforces through its behaviour change technology. Through the new partnership, members of Thrive HR Exchange will have access to Thrive Global’s library of comprehensive content, designed and curated to help instil new behaviours, protect mental health and lift performance.
