Zambrero to open 35th restaurant at Craigieburn Central

Zambrero, a humanitarian organisation that funds its aid and development projects through the sale of healthy Mexican food, is set to open a restaurant in the new Craigieburn Central Shopping Centre on Friday, 29th November.

Throughout the year, Zambrero donates a meal to someone in need every time a burrito or bowl is purchased through its PLATE 4 PLATE program. Since Zambrero was founded by Dr. Sam Prince in 2005, more than one million meals have been provided to those living in poverty around the world.

To celebrate the opening of Zambrero Craigieburn – Zambrero’s 35TH restaurant in Australia – Zambrero is offering all customers a $5 burrito or bowl on Friday, 29th November. For every burrito or bowl purchased on the day customers will also be shouting a meal to someone in need through the PLATE 4 PLATE program.

“Where and what you eat for lunch and dinner can make a difference,” says Dr. Sam Prince, founder of Zambrero.

“Our PLATE 4 PLATE initiative means that every time you eat at Zambrero, you’re helping to feed the world’s hungry.

“I encourage everyone to get down to the opening of Craigieburn Central on Friday, 29th November and enjoy lunch at Zambrero. Not only will you enjoy a fresh, inexpensive Mexican meal, by choosing to eat at Zambrero you’ll also be helping to feed those most in need around the world”.
