Australia’s fastest growing franchise, the quick service Mexican restaurant Zambrero, has opened in Hervey Bay at the new Stockland Mall this Thursday 10 July. And, to celebrate, Zambrero’s signature burritos – freshly made with slow cooked meats and zesty salsas, were only $5 all day.
Zambrero’s recipe for success is one part good food, one part food that does good. For every healthy burrito, or Mexican salad bowl, you purchase at Zambrero, another meal goes to someone in need.
Since Zambrero was founded by Dr Sam Prince in 2005, its Plate 4 Plate initiative has provided more than 2.7 million meals to those living in poverty around the world. Recently Zambrero’s humanitarian program expanded from Africa, Asia, the Americas and now to Australia, acknowledging more than two million Australians now access food relief each year.
To celebrate the opening of Zambrero at the Stockland Hervey Bay Food Court – Zambrero’s 50th restaurant in Australia – Zambrero offered all customers its fresh, flavoursome and filling burritos for just $5. That’s less than half price!
“Where and what you eat for lunch and dinner can make a difference,” said Zambrero General Manager Karim Messih, who will attend the official opening. “Our Plate 4 Plate initiative means that every time you eat at Zambrero, you’re helping to feed the world’s hungry.”
Zambrero Hervey Bay is located in the brand new Stockland Mall and has been brought to the city by development agents and football identities Shaun McCarthy & Shane Muspratt.
Zambrero Hervey Bay will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week from 9am to 10pm. For more information on Zambrero visit – www.zambrero.com.
