Zarraffa’s Coffee open new drive-thru in Upper Commera

In a bold expansion move, the award-winning Zarraffa’s Coffee Upper Coomera franchisees will today open their doors at a new drive thru store location.

The brother and sister franchise team of Bruce Fullerton and Elissa Hutton were thrilled to open their newly relocated Upper Coomera store today, after making the decision to close their traditional store site in favour of added convenience.

The store remains within the Coomera City Centre on Days Road Upper Coomera, having moved to a more accessible position to cater for its expanded drive thru operation.

Due to the increasing trade in the area we felt a drive thru store would better service our local customers and their requirements for convenient coffee. The drive thru operation also means we are bigger, better and faster,” said Mr Fullerton.

We are still in our original shopping centre where we started our business in 2007 and have the same knowledgeable staff and consistent product.”

The store was officially opened by local Federal MP for Forde, Mr Bert van Manen, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and was also credited with the new coffee machine named in tribute.

“I am honoured to have one of the coffee machines at the new store named after me.”

With the Federal election in full swing I have to congratulate the owners on their decision to include the drive through as it makes it easier to grab my coffee on the go when I am campaigning in Upper Coomera.”

Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Kenton Campbell, said the team’s decision to expand operations was commendable and follows the company’s trend to build more convenience into everyday coffee.

“ We are most importantly focused on product and service and now with the success of our drive thru model are able to support this with better access  for our customer’s to their daily grind.”

The 2011 Zarraffa’s Coffee Franchisee of the Year Award recipients said their journey with the Australian-owned and operated company so far has been amazing.

We feel lucky enough to have some remarkable staff members and equally amazing customers. We are proud of our product and what we stand for – excellent customer service,” said Mr Fullerton.

Both fans of the Piccolo Latte, Bruce and Elissa are ready for the evolution of their business, while still focusing on what counts.

At the end of the day it’s about serving people their daily coffee. We always remember a name and their favourite beverage.”
