Iconic Tasmanian bakery chain, Banjo’s Bakery Café has rolled out the first Australian bakery order and pay app across the country, as the dough rises on ordering your favourite baked goods at the swipe of a finger.
The free mobile application has a range of benefits for users including a ViP Loyalty Club, Click and Collect ordering and online catering options, dusting the flour off in-store purchase methods. Banjo’s will sweeten the deal with 50% off first orders on the app for all customers.
Twelve months in the baking, the user-friendly service allows customers to skip the queue when ordering, pay safely ahead of time, save their favourite products, and keep track of loyalty points.
Banjo’s Bakery Café CEO and Managing Director, Jessica Saxby said the mobile app offers customers the convenience of ordering before arrival at a bricks-and-mortar store.
“Since opening in 1984, Banjo’s has been a family business focused on providing the best service and product to our customers. Digital experiences are the future, and the new mobile app responds to consumer demand for fast and flexible payments,” Ms Saxby said.
“It’s amazing to know that customers who have purchased their bread in-store every day since we opened at our first location in Launceston will now be able to interact with the brand and make that same purchase via the app.”
When Banjo’s Bakery Café first opened its doors, the idea of a dine-in bakery was unique. Launching the Bangers and Mash Pie, drive-thru stores and Australia’s first bakery app this year, the Australian brand continues to rise to the challenge.
Every person who signs up to the new app will also receive an annual bonus on their birthday, discounted offers, earn points on applicable purchases, be able to use points towards their purchases and review previous purchases.
Available on IOS and Android devices, download the Banjo’s ViP Ordering App on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
With over three decades of baking experience and millions of customers each year, Banjo’s Bakery Café currently has 44 successful franchise stores across Tasmania, Victoria, News South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
