Pink Power: JAX Tyres & Auto and National Breast Cancer Foundation Wrap Up a Powerful October Campaign

JAX Tyres & Auto has wrapped up another inspiring October in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), uniting motorsport fans, customers, and communities nationwide through two powerful initiatives – the Put a Cap on Breast Cancer campaign and the Pink Helmet Auction with Supercars legend, David Reynolds.

Together, the campaigns raised an impressive combined total of $26,629, contributing to $96,647 raised since JAX Tyres & Auto in partnership with NBCF first began these initiatives three years ago.

The Put a Cap on Breast Cancer campaign saw all JAX Tyres & Auto stores across Australia go pink throughout October, encouraging customers to swap their regular tyre valve caps for pink caps, as a symbol of support for those affected by breast cancer.  JAX Tyres & Auto team members also donned pink t-shirts every Friday to further show their support.

David Reynolds’ annual Pink Helmet Auction – featuring his custom helmet designed by Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint – generated another wave of generosity among motorsport fans, raising $13,001. The one-of-a-kind helmet was auctioned via Lloyds Auctions, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to NBCF to support world-class breast cancer research.

April Harwood, Chief Franchising Operations Officer at JAX Tyres & Auto, said, “Every October, we see our stores, teams, and customers come together in support of a cause that truly matters. Their continued involvement has helped us surpass our goals once again this year, making a meaningful contribution to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Supercars champion and 2025 Bathurst 1000 runner-up, David Reynolds, said, “The pink helmet has become a really special tradition for me. It’s amazing to see fans get behind it every year, knowing that every bid helps fund lifesaving research. Huge thanks to JAX Tyres & Auto for its continued commitment – it’s a privilege to be part of something that makes such a real difference.”

The National Breast Cancer Foundation General Manager Philanthropy and Partnerships, Penny Waitsman said,  “We’re incredibly grateful to JAX Tyres & Auto and David Reynolds for their continued partnership and commitment to our cause. Their commitment has helped raise vital funds and awareness, supporting our vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.”
